Brew Crew
Todd was an avid homebrewer and gainfully employed electrical engineer until one (now infamous) night in late 1995 when he “experienced” a brewer’s gathering at RedBones in Somerville. The rest, as they say is history……The brewing journey from there:
- Long Trail Brewing Company, Bridgewater Corners, VT
- Sunday River Brewing Company, Bethel, ME
- John Harvard’s BrewHouse, Springfield, PA
- Hyannisport Brewing Company, Hyannis, MA
- Hyport Brewing Company, Hyannis, MA
- CAPE COD BEER, Hyannis MA
Beth has been with Cape Cod Beer since its inception – when it was just an office in the basement of the Marcus house. She holds the official title of Business Manager – because there was no great way to describe all the stuff she does around the brewery – that includes the finances, marketing, retail and so much more. She and Todd are also the proud parents of two growing boys: Jacob (12) and Harrison (10).
Jeff comes to Cape Cod Beer by way of Boston where he worked at Mass Bay Brewing Company (Harpoon) for the last six years. He’s new to the Cape but knows the coastal culture well, as he grew up in Gloucester, MA. In his downtime Jeff enjoys playing music, reading, and spending time with his beautiful wife Alissa and their unruly cat Ignatius. He’s looking forward to making great beer and settling into the Cape!
We met Corey long before he officially came to work for Cape Cod Beer. Affectionately known as a “beer geek” Corey loves everything about beer and claims to have found his dream job when he began work at Cape Cod Beer. An accomplished home-brewer, husband and father of one particularly adorable young boy named Ellis, Corey started as a production assistant in late ’09 and was promoted to Brewer in 2011.
Chris has been at Cape Cod Beer since 2009. He started as our “distribution guy”. In May of 2012 Chris he became an Assistant Brewer. Chris is a recipient of The Greg Noonan Scholarship from The American Brewers Guild.
Vilija came to work with Cape Cod Beer as a part of the summer brew crew in 2011. After graduating Framingham State College and receiving her license as a Registered Dietitian she decided beer is just as nutritious and is back with us as the production assistant. When not at the brewery, she enjoys snowboarding, going to concerts, traveling, touring breweries and watching horror movies. Vilija is excited to be living on Cape Cod and is looking forward to getting her residential beach sticker!
Ryan is a Cape kid through and through, growing up in Cotuit and moving back after attending Queens University of Charlotte. You may recognize him from behind the bar at the British Beer Company in Falmouth, where he has worked for the past 5 years. In his spare time Ryan enjoys golfing, snowboarding, and spending ridiculous amounts of time at the beach in the summer. A lover of all types of craft beer he is excited to be working for such a great company that makes wicked good beer, the perks of working at a brewery are great!
Alan O’Campbell moved to Cape Cod in 2008 with his wife and two children so that his kids could grow up running free on the beautiful shores of Wellfleet! Many of you may know him from his last adventure as the proprietor of the former Grain & Vine Spirit Shoppe in Hyannis.
However, his endless fascination with craft beer began long before that in the stock room of Downtown Wine and Spirits where his eyes were opened to the wonderful world of craft beer. After 20 years in retail, he is thrilled to finally be working in brewery supporting a cause he loves – fresh local beer for good solid people! His favorite drinking vessel is a mason jar!
Bob started with Cape Cod Beer in the early spring of 2010. Bob has been working hard ..moving up the ladder from delivery/distribution guy to Outside Sales. He now is our OUTSIDE SALES rep for Barnstable, Yarmouth and North Dennis. Bob is one of the happiest guys we know…always smiling!! Bob is married to his beautiful wife Meghan and they have 2 lovely daughters.
Sean came to Cape Cod Beer in January 2012, following graduation from UMass-Dartmouth to help Bob with distribution. He is now the logistics supervisor, calling all of our awesome customers for orders and making sure that the delivery guys and the sales guys have everything they need to be successful! Sean lives in Mashpee with his lovely fiancé Heather.
David came to Cape Cod Beer in January of 2011 to help manage the retail shop. David is a homebrewer and has been a fan of Cape Cod Beer since the beginning! He has many many years of retail experience, and has hit the ground running, helping us to implement a new Point of Sale system! David lives in Centerville with his lovely wife Melissa.

Austen joined the team in April 2012 taking over the inside sales position, after years in Retail. While you can take the man out of retail, you can’t take the retail out of the man – and after a summer at inside sales, he has moved “downstairs” to help David with our growing retail business. When not at work you can find him fly fishing for stripers, riding his bike, grilling, bowling, or relaxing at home with his dog Grady. Austen grew up in upstate New York and has been homebrewing with his father since he was young.
A native Cape Codder and a graduate of U-Mass Amherst, Tyler joined Cape Cod Beer in April 2012 to help Dave with retail. Tyler also gives tours and tastings and he loves to share his passion for craft beer with customers. When not at the brewery you can find him surfing, stand-up paddle boarding, hiking, relaxing at the beach or homebrewing.
MJ started working for Cape Cod Beer in the fall of 2010. Her first task was to get Beth’s office organized, a job she tackled with ease (and continues to tackle almost daily). MJ is the proud Mom of 4 very active kids (hockey mom x 4!), and can tackle almost anything thrown at her with what appears to be great calm. She works for CCB part time, and can be found doing almost everything but brewing!
Josh Trott was born and raised in Sandwich. He is 23 years old and currently a student of Fire Science and Paramedic at Cape Cod Community College. He hopes to one day become a smoke jumper. His hobbies include cooking, building computers, SCUBA diving, and all things science.

Buster Brown is the only four-legged member of the Brew Crew (at least so far!). A Field Spaniel by breed, Buster loves hanging out at the top of the brewery stairs and listening to the twice weekly tours. Upon completion of the tour Buster will happily go greet anyone on the tour willing to bend over and give him a pat!
