Beer Release: Carrot Cake Golden Ale

Carolyn Brooks started as a beertender in our taproom in June of 2019 but has recently joined our production team working towards becoming a brewer. When Carol started in the taproom our Carrot Cake Belgian Strong was the first pilot beer that went on draft, and now that she’s had her chance to brew her own on the pilot system, she’s decided to bring it back! (With her own spin on it – of course!)
Carolyn’s pilot brew is a Carrot Cake Golden Ale. It is light but packed with all the flavors of a delicious piece of Carrot Cake! This golden ale was brewed with fresh carrot juice from our friends at the Local Juice, golden raisins, and lactose to add a smooth creamy mouthfeel. Then it was conditioned on fresh vanilla beans & cinnamon sticks to add that little bit of spice.
This is one tasty dessert beer where you can have your cake & drink it too!
Available on draft for pints & tastings at the brewery only starting Thursday, April 14th!
