Beer Release: Summer Ale

Maybe the most anticipated time of the year – SUMMER – and one of our favorite beers comes back for another summer season.
Cape Cod Summer Ale is a pale, spicy, fruity wheat ale. This traditional Bavarian Hefe-Weizen (wheat beer) is popular in Bavaria during the spring and summer months. Pronounced Hay-fa-VI-tsen, this beer style is unfiltered and known for its unique banana and clove flavors, which come from the special German yeasts used in fermentation. It is light and wonderfully refreshing during the hot days of summer.
Why Hydrangeas on the Label?
Every July marks the 10 day Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival which celebrates Cape Cod’s signature blooms. You can tour private gardens, attend classes and enjoy family activities, all to benefit local Cape Cod nonprofits.
