May’s Pilot Release is one of those “old style” beers that is often misunderstood, in terms of its name, and its history.
So along with this beer, we bring you some history to enjoy while drinking it! Learn more about it and the story of Max & Carlota here!
This beer is one of our monthly pilot beers and is available only on tap at the brewery. It is not packaged or available to go.
Available May 10th until it is gone!
Also of Note! This beer is made with malts from Stone Path Malt – malted in Wareham MA – just over the bridge!

We love beer! And of course, we love experimenting with interesting beers! That’s why we’ve started our Pilot Brew program. Each month we brew a single barrel of a different experimental beer on our Pilot System.
The Pilot System is a 1 BBL (31 gallons), 3 vessel, all grain brewing system with a single fermenter that allows us to make small batches of fun and unusual beers. Each Pilot Brew is a limited release – only 250 pints of each beer is produced. Pilot Brews are only available by the pint at the brewery.
