About #PinkBootsBrew2018

Pink Boots Collaboration Brew Day was born from our members’ desire to take part in International Women’s Day (IWD) March 8th by raising the profile of women’s roles in the beer industry. Chapters and members of Pink Boots Society get together along with supporting breweries and individuals, put on their pink boots and brew their version of the selected beer style. Pink Boots Society receives proceeds from sales of this collaboration brew, which it applies to educational scholarships for its members.

All #PinkBootsBrew2018 will be using the same variety and mix of hops, provided by YCH Hops.  During the 2017 Great American Beer Festival in Denver, YCH HOPS staff and PBS members met to rub, smell and experience a selection of hop samples for the upcoming blend. This year’s blend includes Palisade®Simcoe®Mosaic®Citra® and Loral®.  to learn more about this hop blend , its selection process and the people behind it click here.

About the Pink Boots Society

Mission: The Pink Boots Society was created to assist, inspire and encourage women beer industry professionals to advance their careers through education.

Organizational Goals:

  1. Support PBS members to advance their beer careers through education.
  2. Teach women beer professionals the judging skills necessary to become beer judges at the GABF and other competitions.

Who Are the Pink Boots Society®?

We are the female movers and shakers in the beer industry. We get the beer brewed and fermented with the highest possible quality. We also own breweries, package the beer, design beers, serve beers, write about beer, and cover just about any aspect of beer, and we are all women. Most importantly, we teach each other what we know through our own seminar programs, and we help each other advance our beer careers by raising money for educational scholarships.
