A message from Todd & Beth Marcus and the Brew Crew at Cape Cod Beer…
After 21 incredible years of brewing on Cape Cod, we are happy and eager to announce that our beloved brewery has been acquired by Triton Beverage Group, a newly formed entity comprised of Hog Island Beer Company, Mayflower Brewing Company, and now Cape Cod Beer.
Please know that this decision was not an easy one. Over the last two decades, this team has created something that we’ve said is “bigger than just beer,” and we would be silly to let that legacy come to an end. We truly believe that this transition will provide an opportunity for Cape Cod Beer to grow and continue making a positive impact in our community. It was extremely important for us to find a partner who would honor our brand, our people, and our commitment to this place we call home. We believe we have found that in Triton.
It has been quite the journey, and certainly one we haven’t taken alone. We wouldn’t be here without the amazing support of this community that we love. We are incredibly grateful to our friends, family, employees, Mug Clubbers, and customers who have made it all possible. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. It’s been a true honor to be Cape Cod’s beer, and we look forward to celebrating with you as the brewery embarks on its next adventure.
As the change in ownership takes place, Cape Cod Beer’s taproom & retail store will be CLOSED on Wednesday, Oct. 22nd & Thursday, Oct. 23rd. We will reopen for business on Friday, Oct. 24th at 4 pm.
We invite you all to join us in the taproom on Friday to raise a glass to the remarkable success of Todd & Beth Marcus and to celebrate the next chapter of Cape Cod Beer. We will have live music (band TBA) from 6-9 PM and food from Red River BBQ! Come raise a pint with Todd & Beth and meet Mike & the Triton Crew! The Brew Crew you know and love will be pouring beers behind the bar! And the management team will be here to celebrate as well. We hope to see you there!
