Beer Release: Sonny Sunflower Seed Helles Lager

This month’s pilot brew is a German-style full-bodied lager made with sunflower seeds!
One of our newest brewers, Jerome Stontz, recently moved here from Chicago with his wife & son. When they lived in Chicago, Jerome owned his own brewery called Bold Dog Brewing Co. “Sonny” was one of his favorite beers to brew and to drink, so he is bringing it back for our fans to enjoy! This is a sunflower Helles lager brewed with fresh sunflower seeds. It is crisp with a subtle hop flavor and an enhanced maltiness from the sunflower seeds. Perfect to enjoy on a hot summer day.
