Cape Cod Doxie Day is an annual celebration dedicated to all things dachshund, held in Barnstable Village to support local animal organizations! This year, Cape Cod Doxie Day is partnering with Cape Cod Beer to host an ultimate after-party. Join us on Saturday, September 26th, at 3 PM for an afternoon of Doxie-themed fun in the beer garden! This event is designed for dachshunds, wiener-wannabes, dachshund lovers, and their friends!

Festivities will include a variety of treats and dog toys, a special beer release for the humans, live music, food trucks, and much more! The event is free to attend, family-friendly, and, of course, dog-friendly!

The party keeps going just steps away over at Hot Diggity with a mobile Pup-Up truck featuring an exclusive selection of items curated just for Doxie Day with a complimentary Barkuterie Board in store. This event is designed for dachshunds, wiener-wannabes, dachshund lovers, and their friends!

Exclusive Doxie Day Beer Release

In celebration of our beloved low-riders, Cape Cod Beer, Cape Cod Doxie Day, and Stefanie Shank of Weenieton have teamed up to create Dachtoberfest! A crisp, smooth Fest Bier brewed with Bavarian malts and hops. Toasty malt, hints of caramel, and a clean finish make this refreshing fall lager one long, smooth sip from start to finish. Grab a pretzel, raise a stein, and let the Dachshund festivities begin. Prost!

Dachtoberfest will be available in a special limited 4 pack that you can purchase in advance via Eventbrite. Any packs left will be available at the After Party and on draft the night of the event.

Nitty Gritty Event Details:

-Cape Cod Doxie Day takes place in Barnstable Village from noon to 3pm

–Live music from Sarah Burrill

-Doxie Day After Party takes place at Cape Cod Beer (5 min from Barnstable Village) from 3-8pm

-Free RSVP is suggested but not required

-Exclusive Dachtoberfest 4-Packs can be purchased in advance via Eventbrite, then picked up at Cape Cod Beer during the party.

-Cape Cod Beer will have ice-cold beer, wine, ciders, hard seltzers, and more available to purchase

-Red River BBQ food truck will be on site with food available to purchase until 8pm.

-This event is OUTSIDE in the beer garden. RAIN OR SHINE!

-There is plenty of seating in our beer garden. Tables and chairs are first-come, first-served.

-We have plenty of parking at the brewery, but carpooling or ride-sharing is never a bad idea.

-This event is FREE to attend, family-friendly, and, of course, dog-friendly!
