Celebrity Beertender: Sarah Swain x Cape Wellness Collaborative

Cape Cod Beer’s Celebrity Beertender events are scheduled fundraisers where “local celebrities” within the community serve beer in our taproom to raise money for the non-profit of their choice. It’s also an opportunity to fundraise for a certain event like a charitable 5K or bike ride, or they can be as simple as raising money for a charity in honor of a milestone like a birthday, anniversary, retirement, etc. Donations come through your tips to the beertenders, so tip well—100% of the cash tips will go to the Celebrity Beertender to benefit the charity of their choice.

On Thursday, March 6th from 6-8 PM we will be joined by Sarah Swain of Sarah Swain & the Oh Boys who will be representing and raising money for Cape Wellness Collaborative. Cape Wellness Collaborative is a 501(c)3 organization providing free-of-charge integrative therapies, nutritious meals and emotional support for anyone in our community facing cancer.

Cape Cod Beer has a wide selection of craft beer & hard seltzers available to purchase. There will be live music from 5-8 PM with Derek Dibbern and food available to purchase in the pop up kitchen.

About Cape Wellness Collaborative: Approximately 2,100 people are diagnosed with cancer each year on Cape Cod. Many of them will seek integrative therapies to manage pain and nausea, reduce anxiety and increase well-being during their illness. But most of these therapies – acupuncture, massage, energy work, yoga, nutritional counseling and more — are not covered by insurance. CWC connects people facing cancer directly with local practitioners who provide these therapies, and we cover the cost.
