Wildlife on Tap Lecture Series

Cape Cod Beer and Mass Audobon Long Pasture are excited to announce that Wildlife on Tap is back at the brewery for 2025! After numerous requests, we are thrilled to get this program started again! These events used to sell out every month – get your tickets now!

This lecture will be held on the last Wednesday of every month from 6:30-8:30pm. The Wildlife on Tap lecture series at Cape Cod Beer is a special event each winter where attendees can learn about wildlife over some fine beverages. Each presenter in the series is an expert in the field. Come have a beer and learn something new about some of Cape Cod’s majestic creatures from the charismatic individuals who have made it their life’s mission to protect!

Registration is required. There is a $15 registration fee.

January 29th – Terrapins: A Unique Salt Marsh Turtle Barbara Brennessel, Ph. D., Prof. Emerita Wheaton College

Diamondback terrapins are a Massachusetts threatened species of turtle that live in our salt marshes. Learn about turtle biology, natural history, and some of the exciting local conservation work happening to protect these unique creatures.

February 26th – Wildlife in Winter

March 26th – Fascinating Fishes: River Herring

Every spring, river herring flood into Cape Cod’s freshwater streams and ponds, headed from their saltwater homes to their spawning grounds. This migration is known as the herring run. Learn about these incredible fish and the local work happening to protect them.
