Wildlife on Tap Lecture Series!
February 7, 2024 @ 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
The Wildlife on Tap Lecture Series is back at the brewery!
Cape Cod Beer and Mass Audobon Long Pasture are excited to announce that Wildlife on Tap is back at the brewery for 2024! After 4 years and numerous requests, we are thrilled to get this program started again! These events used to sell out every month – get your tickets now!
These lectures will be held monthly on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm starting February 7th. The Wildlife on Tap lecture series at Cape Cod Beer is a special event each winter where attendees can learn about wildlife over some fine beverages. Each presenter in the series is an expert in the field. Come have a beer and learn something new about some of Cape Cod’s majestic creatures from the charismatic individuals who have made it their life’s mission to protect!
February’s lecture will be on Horseshoe Crab Conservation with Mark Faherty, the Science Coordinator at Mass Audubon Cape Cod
“Since before the ages of dinosaurs, horseshoe crabs have roamed shallow coastal waters across the globe. These prehistoric creatures are among the world’s most resilient species and today live on the East and Gulf Coasts of North America and across Asia. Unfortunately, their populations are diminished due to decades of overexploitation. Learn from Mark Faherty, Mass Audubon Cape Cod Science Coordinator, about efforts to restore horseshoe crab populations here in Massachusetts.”
Registration for Wildlife on Tap is mandatory! There is a $15 registration fee.
