The details of our specific beer being brewed are still being worked out, but we are circling in on a Pale Ale recipe that will allow the Hops to be the star of the show!
We plan to release what will most like be Pink Boots Pale Ale on Friday April 6th as part of our Friday Friday Concert series – where we will feature local female musicians and songwriters. Learn more about the release party!
Pink Boots Collaboration Brew Day was born from our members’ desire to take part in International Women’s Day (IWD) March 8th by raising the profile of women’s roles in the beer industry. Chapters and members of Pink Boots Society get together along with supporting breweries and individuals, put on their pink boots and brew their version of the selected beer style. Pink Boots Society receives proceeds from sales of this collaboration brew, which it applies to educational scholarships for its members.
All #PinkBootsBrew2018 will be using the same variety and mix of hops, provided by YCH Hops. During the 2017 Great American Beer Festival in Denver, YCH HOPS staff and PBS members met to rub, smell and experience a selection of hop samples for the upcoming blend. This year’s blend includes Palisade®, Simcoe®, Mosaic®, Citra® and Loral®. to learn more about this hop blend , its selection process and the people behind it click here.

Who Are the Pink Boots Society®?
We are the female movers and shakers in the beer industry. We get the beer brewed and fermented with the highest possible quality. We also own breweries, package the beer, design beers, serve beers, write about beer, and cover just about any aspect of beer, and we are all women. Most importantly, we teach each other what we know through our own seminar programs, and we help each other advance our beer careers by raising money for educational scholarships.
