As you may know, Cape Cod Red is our flagship ale – the first beer we ever brewed. To honor our 20th anniversary, we kicked things up a notch and DOUBLED it… creating the Double X Red. This pilot batch was brewed with the first runnings of a 30bbl batch of Cape Cod Red, meaning the flavor profile and malt bill remain true to our flagship, but is much higher in alcohol. It’s well balanced with caramel and toffee malt notes and just the right amount of hop character. It’s the perfect beer to sip on as we celebrate two decades of brews with you. Cheers to 20 years!
